We measure against the goal from step one, not against vanity numbers.
- Go back to the goal we agreed in step one
- Pick a few numbers that show progress toward it, such as inquiries, bookings or visits
- Look at what people actually do on the site or in your inbox
- Decide what to keep, what to change and what to build next
